SE Brisbane 800m land = $325k 38SQ house = $380k - inc nicer fitting but not high level, air, gas etc To Add= Fence, landscaping, driveway Crikey can I ask what area/suburb this land is in? We bought a block in Redland shire back in 1992 for $60k it was 770m. How times have changed, I should have bought 2 of them Hey, Our land is actually in the Redlands, Redland Bay. I wish I brought back then when it was all farmland ...... Hi 78xtc, Your land is quite cheap for 953m2 block. We paid $190K for 576m2 in Lalor VIC, and house $340k house (37sq). And still counting.... Does not include landscaping, shutters and blinds, antennas, about 5k of electrical upgrades, shelving, about 20k worth of fit-outs, and, last but not the least, leaves from work If we add all those will probably add another 100k. We just had our house appraised as we have considered selling due to personal circumstances and well... it's only just going to cover our mortgage, it's that bad around here. We've basically lost 200k of our own money we have put into it! Even the bank valuation came in higher early last year. We will probably pay an extra 10000 as we upgraded to timber flooring, couple of extra things in kitchen, electrical, etc... God knows how much $$$$. Nightmares+heart problem developed during this build: millions $$$$$$$$$$.
