We've been thinking about buying one of the still available stage 1 lots and holding onto it for a while, but I figure we would be holding onto it for at least 5-10 years when the rest of the development is finished first. We are the last to build in our estate. Bought the land in 2005. If we had waited for the new lots to be released we would be paying so much more. And we also had a few years to get the loan for the land down before we built the house. All those years flew by, and gave us time to research builders too. The best time to buy real estate is yesterday, the next best time is today I love it out at Drouin, first time I have ever been there too. If it wasn't so far out we would keep the block and build on it Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. I don't want to think about retirement yet, that just makes me feel old This block needs a beautiful big family home built on it so we will sell it on when the time is right and let another family build their dream home there. I hope this will be one of many blocks for us anyway Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new.
