Whilst I used an inspector to inspect my slab, I also had a good look myself. Being an amateur, I don't have a list of things to check. But when I reviewed my slab, the things that I ended up checking are (not sure what is the code requirement): - all piping/drains coming out of the slab are correct (number and location) - no chunks of concrete fell out when boards were removed - edge of slab is straight and vertical - no steel visible - reasonably flat surface - plastic overhanging the slab - depressions (if any) are present - damage Chris because its not being managed properly.
