He has obliged and given me 3 names of people who are happy to talk to me. I will call them tonight. I'm just putting together a few questions to ask them. All suggestions welcome. Are you happy with your home? Did you have any concerns during the build and after handover? How were they resolved? How would you describe the qualiy of workmanship? Who did you deal with? Were they contactable? Did they return phone calls? Would you use them again? Were there any hidden costs? Were there any surprises you weren't expecting? Was it completed on time? I would ask: "Can I have look inside and out of your home, I'll bring the coffee and biscuits" Some referees will have no problems with you coming over to there home for a closer inspection.
