Wow, very impressed. I'm nervous because I've had a few trade blokes make me feel like an idiot. I've also been told they rip women off so you know.... I'm reading these forums like no ones business!! Thanks for the tips, I appreciate all advice Re: Williams family Coral Hamilton 27, Warner Lakes, QLD 7Jun 26, 2009 7:46 am will0305 - Unfortunately the building industry is very male dominated so you just have to arm yourself with information. One of the best ways to do so is visit the display villages and ask the sales guys heap of info. Don't let on that you've already selected a builder just try and ask as many questions as you can and you'll slowly pick lots of info up. Also try the homemaker centres which are great for info as well. And as Jess said keep asking until you understand. It's definitely harder doing all of this with kids. I tend to do most of my running around on the days when my 3yr old is in daycare and I just have my 9 month old to take Re: Williams family Coral Hamilton 27, Warner Lakes, QLD 8Jun 26, 2009 12:53 pm omg bek - i've only got one 2 year old, can't imagaine having 2 little ones n is naughty enough as it is - sooo cheeky he stood on the coffee table in the redbank display home once - i think no one saw him, but i was mortified 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: Williams family Coral Hamilton 27, Warner Lakes, QLD 9Jul 07, 2009 9:36 pm Going to go and sign the contract to build on Sat ! I just thought I'd remind you, you said in an earlier post you'd put some pics of your block and plan changes up. Any chance you'll be doing that soon??? Re: Williams family Coral Hamilton 27, Warner Lakes, QLD 14Jul 07, 2009 10:46 pm Jess09 omg bek - i've only got one 2 year old, can't imagaine having 2 little ones n is naughty enough as it is - sooo cheeky he stood on the coffee table in the redbank display home once - i think no one saw him, but i was mortified They're all the same aren't they. My two are old enough to know better (11 &13) but even they had limits with the amount of displays they were happy to be dragged through. My BIL came with us once to see what were were talking about and my 2 year old niece climbed on a glass coffee table. I nearly died!! Glad the sales people don't wander around behind you There's lots of Coral builders on H1 now, so Willow, you're in good company to ask lots of questions.
