I've tried to search for this topic but to no avail (I'd hate to waste your time by repeating a previous thread)
I am building in Perth and am looking at choosing both light bricks and light coloured roof to minimise solar absorptance. I just don't know if it looks any good!
I have Midland and Austral bricks to choose from as standard, and I like the 2 course bricks (though it seems like everyone in Perth has chosen 2 course limestone look bricks!)
I will have a rendered blade wall that I can paint a different colour to make things stand out or bring it all together. My fencing is also colorbond "Harvest" (ie. light!) as part of the estate requirements.
Brick: 2 course. Midland Brick "Centenary Limestone", "Florentine Limestone" or Austral "Geographe Limestone"
Roof: Colorbond light colour ???
Fencing: Colorbond "Harvest"
Rendered blade wall: Maybe a green??? Or any other suggestions???
Has anyone chosen both light bricks and light(ish) Colourbond roofing, and can I see your photos?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to choose?
