Frustrating.... LDH Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 6Nov 18, 2008 9:27 am I'm looking at the PDF from the website.
http://www.carlislehomes.com.au/floorplan_pdf/atlantique36Mk2_floorplan.pdf I like it. Spa in the ensuite and double robes in each minor bedroom are hard to find. Well done! Oh and I just saw the walk in pantry... oh and walk in linen... score! Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 8Nov 18, 2008 9:48 am THX Peach.. i should of tried that..(attach the link that is) anyway...
yeah its all standard we couldn't believe it... we went to see a different house... didnt end up liking that one... walked into this one and i saw my partners eyes light up (especially at the powder room) and i thought uh oh.... here we go again.... Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 10Nov 18, 2008 10:02 am thx matt how the bugger did you do that???
by the way overall how do you rate your carlisle experience... should i prepare for worries or smooth with some bumps along the way ride?? LDH Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 11Nov 18, 2008 10:03 am I really liked this display...
It is a great layout...especially the kitchen to alfresco area! The only downside for me was the placement of the fridge... It looked like an afterthought (in the display) and it stuck out into the walkway. Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 12Nov 18, 2008 10:05 am lildutchgringo thx matt how the bugger did you do that??? by the way overall how do you rate your carlisle experience... should i prepare for worries or smooth with some bumps along the way ride?? LDH ROLLERCOASTER!!! Started off well... Felt like throwing up a lot in the middle... Wondered if and when it was going to finish... Was glad when the ride was over... Can look back now and laugh (a little) Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 13Nov 18, 2008 10:15 am Yeah the display is great... i think it won an award not long ago?
ok cool thx i'll get prepared for a bumpy ride with a fairly happy ending.. hopefully with lotS of laughing...hehehe LDH Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 14Nov 18, 2008 10:30 am Wow, that's a lot of rooms!
The only raised eyebrow I have with this layout is the square home theatre room. Every time I see a square home theatre room I feel like it's been built specifically for just the owners to sit and watch. We intend to have a dozen friends over to sit in ours--otherwise we might as well just watch the TV! Speaking of TVs, I can't recall which M3tricon design it was we looked at that was quite similar--it was either the Aspen, Zenith, Jardine or Soho--where we figured that the TV recess in conjunction with the rest of the layout of the family room meant that the optimum couch placement required turning your head to an oblique angle to watch the TV. Lots of neck strain in that house! Nice big shower in the second bathroom though. Nothing like a bit of luxury! The powder room is also very cool. And stacks of kitchen bench space! Which way is north on your block? --Mike Everything I know, I learned from SBS. I also like this house. They just had a price rise about two weeks ago, i think another $4k increase! Idiots are fun, that's why there is one in every village! - Dr. House - Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 16Nov 18, 2008 11:02 am hey mike...yeah big shower in bathroom rocks... north for us will be on the theatre room side which we intend to make in to a gym... and watch tv in the rumpus....
We first went to look at The aston but found it a little to small.. and yeah they did just have a price rise!!! conveniently i think when the government upped there first home owners grant??? coincidence??? LDH Re: Our House Our Home...24/7 UPDATE..HANDOVER DAY!!! 18Nov 18, 2008 11:39 am hey peach.... unfortunately that the way our land is we have a driveway on the left as in the plans... costs way to much to get that changed... i dont mind as in those hot months the midday sun will be in the 2nd bed, laundry, home theatre and garage so sitting in the rumpus watching tv should be ok... alfresco would have been nice to have on the sun side though... master bed should stay coolish though the garage should cop most of that last afternoon sun... hopefully.. damn hot summer nights....

LDH You will most likely save the cost of moving the driveway in your first 2-3 years heating bills. In summer the sun sits high in the sky so won't come into your alfresco much, however in winter when the sun is a lot lower in the sky the whole north side of the house will warm up. 4 6827 you need to understand the breakdown of warranties. 90 warranty is considered as minor defects rectification period where as the longer ones are more major/structural… 1 5347 Yes you are correct, unless there are outside works which form part of the contract such as landscaping or driveways, and importantly, the work delayed is on the critical… 1 3532 |
