Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 02, 2007 12:33 pm I'm on a quest to build a big Georgian-style house in Tasmania as cheaply as possible. One of the biggest potential problems (and expenses) that I see so far is the smooth white-rendered exterior that's part of the standard Georgian feel.
I had thought of just getting plain brick and then rendering that one happy day in the future when I've some more money. But will that ever happen ? Instead I've seen Austral's range of 'Nawtint' coloured bricks. Maybe this can give me a rendered feel without the same cost ? Any opinions ?
