Delivery date May 12th, the first one at 9.30 followed by two at 12.30 hrs. We already measured the gate as the load will be 3.5 metrs wide and Thank Heaven for the old farmland gates, they hang a little bit out of the balance allowing a load of 4 meters. We went to a local pipeline company and got the following quote: a 13 tonne exavator for 12 hours, 5.6 M3 gravel and transport of the exavator for $1800 cash. We still think that if paying cash the discount should be 20%, but until so far we have never been succesful in getting of more than 10%. We'll have another contractor in today for a quote. A CON is that they think that the soil is not stable enough to go 2.7 meters straight down, they are going to build in at least one bank of 1.5 meters which means that the delivery truck will not be able to put the tanks in the ground as their crane is not able to cover these extra meters. Normally one of the truck's legs has to placed within 1 meter of the exavation. So we have to have a crane as well which was about $200/hour last year as I remember well. Regarding the filling of the tanks for 50% I managed to get a quote for 3 x 12.000 liters of $125/load so far, but have to do a little bit more of asking around as you can have it for $100 according to the locals. Hi everyone, Looking for some advise. We are about to build an above ground pool in our backyard. There is a private sewer line running under the pool at 1.6m… 0 11731 That was always going to be a challenge and a test of patience. Full marks to your mate.
