Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 12, 2009 5:19 pm Has anyone build there home with austral urban one brick (pepper) would love to see a picture if so thanks Re: has anyone used austral urban one brick (pepper) 2Apr 13, 2009 2:15 am Hi 1stimer, i've just built with austral bricks but not with pepper - can't find it on my chart - what size is it & r u still looking or have u decided? u can see the "Federation" we used (290X162x90) in owner builder thread "our last o/b project & still lot of fun" on second page. i like the look of ours, but would never use the larger block/brick size again whatever colour- i would be sticking to normal smaller standard house brick size. corners & bond lines with the larger 290 blocks r a pain in the neck & IMO old standard size is a wider & stronger brick - we liked the look of the bigger blocks but it wasn't till i started the bricking that we found what sods this size is to work with - never again. as above normal small brick size runs a good bond, easy to carry around corners, is wider & stronger....i had to experience it to understand what others warner me about....looks r sometimes decieving. just my view - cheers Tony 4 14308 As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 17879 Hi All, we are starting to think of building with Masterpiece Builders in Victoria, has anyone had any feedback or experience with them 0 13597 |
