Re: Uses for leftover bricks? 10Apr 12, 2009 4:41 pm I just went and moved all mine yesterday out of the way so that they can level out the soil. I did mention it to the SS last week to make sure that they didn't dump them when they were cleaning up. Definitely bring it up now if you want to keep them so that they don't disappear. There are stacks of uses for them and you can always get rid of them later if you decide you don't want them for anything. But we needed more bricks than what we had leftover, so now we have more leftovers from the fence! We will probably use them as garden path edging in wither the back or the front yard. After I had an inspection with the supervisor after the brickwork had been done he told me to come around one day and stack up the bricks I wanted to keep otherwise when they did site clean up it would all just get cleared out. But I don't know what I'm going go to do with it, he did suggest a letterbox but I don't know how to do these things! I had plenty of tiles left over too, about 8 boxes! That way when I have kids (dont laugh), they'll have a brick wall to hide behind when they're playing cops and robbers (I suspect kids still play this).
