Browse Forums Building A New House Re: BELLAHAVEN HOMES 21Sep 01, 2012 9:08 am We have been talking to a lovely lady from Belahaven and things seem ok so far. They seem to br able to accomodate our personalised design without a worry. But i'd heard no reviews of any kind till now. I started looking when a friend of mine who supplies This builder said they had just been put of thier stop credit list a week or so ago for unpaid work... Now I'm getting worried as my partner and I really liked this builder, loved thier displays, and loved the way they were able to talior the design from scratch, totally customised. I'd really love to hear from other expiriences... I'm an honest guy, and i just sent our consultant an email with this latest news. I guess I'm hoping I can have some fears reduced... Comments? Re: BELLAHAVEN HOMES 22Mar 04, 2013 12:36 pm OK... So we signed... What a mistake... It's been a little over 3 months since we signed and we still don't have a Building Permit, so no house start... I'm building in an estate where we have 1 year to build and although my Estate is fine so long as we keep them updated, I truly fear we shall never see an end result. As in others posts, they never call with updates in my experience, have stoped replying to emails. And the last time I was able to speak to my project manager on the phone was over 2 weeks ago. Phone just rings, no voice mail and doesn’t even ring out which is strange. But what can I do? My Fiancé has said she wants to march down to any office they have and find out what's going on. I'm a fairly open minded individual and have a great deal of patience but I’m feeling more and more despondent every week/month that passes. If anyone is following this post any can I have an update on your issues so I can get an expectation of the pain I’m in for? Thank you. Re: BELLAHAVEN HOMES 24May 01, 2014 1:40 pm Posting under a new account, but my old alias was Aquataine. The last udpate we had with Bellahaven homes was to come out and fix a few minor things which a rather friendly gentleman did... he was the father of the owner of the company which was a little odd but so be it. He also did the final 6 month inspection. There were 2 few small things left and we were told that they would follow up with the suppliers on those issues, (such as missing keys to door bolts on the alfresco folding doors). we heard nothing... until just a few days ago when our main contact who dosn't work directly for bellahaven, replied and said that Bellahaven have stopped trading and she could no longer assist with our enquires... Figures... All in all, the house is in good condition thanks to some great tradies, but Bellahaven themselves... well i have few kind words so won't say any more... it will be interisting to see if the owner creates a new builing company... Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74715 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105587 Hi there!
