Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Land Registration 2Apr 11, 2009 10:13 am It depends on what stage the land developer is at - the usual process is (based on our experience with Blacktown Council and Medallist): Developer submits DA to council for subdivision Council approves Developer then prepares land, utilities, open areas, footpaths etc to DA requirements Council reviews all work done - if meets DA, then signs off Developer prepares paperwork to submit subdivision to Land Titles Office Land Titles Office processing - 4-6 weeks Once this happens - the land is officially subdivided and you'll be notified for settlement.
