Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2009 2:57 am Has anyone ever had everything on there handover list sorted out in a timely manor? I know with my previous house almost nothing on the list was fixed even though it was in writing. Also everyone I know has had problems getting the tradies to come back after they have had handover and often things never get done. I am now building my 2nd house and at the moment I am thinking I wont sign handover until everything is done but I would be interested to know if other people out there had a better experience. Re: Getting things fixed after handover? 2Apr 10, 2009 10:31 am Lily, we have been in our house nearly 6 months now and still waiting on couple of things, everything else was minor and has been attended to, but an issue with kitchen floor and cupboard drawers, both of which have been acknowledged by company but kitchen/flooring contractor yet to appear to rectify them, I sent another e-mail this week, will ring again after Easter to chase it up.
