Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 07, 2009 1:04 pm Hi, I have used the search function of inspectors in Adelaide - they are all away and unavailable. Is any body able to recommend some one to inspect the house we are building at Brooklyn Park? It is 2 stories. We are having trouble with the bricks predominantly, but there may be other issues. We believe that the house was incorrectly placed on the foundation as well, however we are unsure if this is within specifications. I have been quoted for $450 for a brick and roof tile inspection, then an extra $200 to write the report, is this about right? I would like the building inspected within the next week. Yes I have looked in the Yellow pages however, it's like a needle in the hay stack; I am trying to find someone who can be recommended. Re: Adelaide - Need Building Inspection Recommendation 2Apr 08, 2009 12:07 am We have just hired an inpector for around $500 per visit and to do a report so the prices sound right. We haven't used him yet he should be out tomorrow so we will let you know. Type in "building inspectors adelaide" into google should give you a few. Have been told to try and get some who is a member of Association of Building Consultants (ABC). There are a few inspectors on their web site. Goodluck let us know how you go we have similar problems.
