hi all
does any one have or is any one planning on installing a whole of house water purifier at their mains?
If so, what roughly was the cost? Is it worth it?
Thanks!!

The system I bought was for a Fish Tank (reverse osmosis with deionisation stage) and the service was excellent, as was the price. Have you had to change your filters much so far? Re: whole of house water purifier 4Apr 05, 2009 2:33 pm Hi No I haven't had to change the filters as yet, because my fish tank is no longer up and running and the unit is sitting in the garage waiting for the house to be finished. I think if you get a system with the pressure gauges fitted, it can indicate when it needs to be changed when the pressure on the 'out' side of the filter drops (indicating clogged filters) -rob Re: whole of house water purifier 5Apr 05, 2009 2:43 pm Sounds good and their prices seem v reasonable. Do you need a plumber to install? (sorry for the million questions!) Re: whole of house water purifier 6Apr 05, 2009 2:50 pm No problems. I believe you may need a plumber because you'd want the filter to go across the mains. Just check with the people from that site, they'll get you in the right direction. -rob if it's the look that you're not happy with, the easiest option would probably be to spray paint it all into the same color as the walls so it blends in. there might not… 3 4186 6 4346 Thanks for the photos.
