Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 18, 2018 9:00 pm Hi Guys, Apology to someone who sees me posting many questions. Apparently the valuable feedback I'm getting from members are way valuable that what you can get from a paid professional IMHO . Here is my issue: We are the last property to build in our street. Every houses around us are almost completed. This morning I just tried measuring the boundary of my lot which suppose to be 15 meters frontage. After measuring it just ended up 14.8 meters and just figured out that the neighbour beside me has 15.2 meters. I know to the fact that my neighbour suppose to have 15 meters only as it was been selling before as 15 meters frontage. Now, I can't imagine how things is going to be the following documents will be impacted: - builder contract - developer contract - council records - bank contract - (i believe many more...) Not to mention how disheartening it from us as we've already gone through to finance and builder selection, etc.. argument process. I was just hoping If I can just throw this back to whoever responsible as we can't go through with another one . We have seperate contract with builder and developer. My frustration are: - Developer put a wrong boundary - Builder - they have the plan with complete measurement. Site supervisor or engineers should have realized it already before pouring the slab. Has anyone of you had the same experience. How did you guys go . I was hoping to comeback to them and hoping them pay for the damages they have caused. I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 9970 Would anyone on this forum know of a builder/company in Brisbane with house designs for a shallow block.
