Carlisle has a $500 variation fee in their HIA contract but generally won't let you make any changes even if you are willing to pay the fee - we were willing to pay but they wouldn't let us change. We took ours away and went through it all again afterwards. I'll try to be diplomatic - we didn't find our tender presenter was familiar with our file and issues had to go back to our CLE to resolve. All the tender presenter did with us was read out the tender - really you could do that for yourself so I don't think the whole process is very useful. So take it away and go over it carefully and go back to them with anymore changes you have thought of. And you don't have to accept all the items you have had a quote done on. For example we got a quote on upgrading the solar hot water system but it was way too expensive so didn't proceed. When you have your tender perhaps post your plans on here (this forum) and others may be able to suggest some modifications you can incorporate. Hope it goes smoothly. Dale. Do we need to sign tommorow or we can take couple of days to sign it Yep, I took mine home also! It's been about a month now since our last tender appointment. We've been emailing back and forth about different quotes i want CH to add and delete. We have been dealing mainly with our tender girl, she's been great, really helped us alot. We still haven't really had anything to do with our CLE as yet.
