Re: Our Providence 24MKII 6Apr 02, 2009 1:48 pm gkj001 Thanks erinleigh Did you sought out the problems with your builder? Yep, most issues were sorted out to my liking, a few issues were sorted out because i'd lost my will to fight them on it. But overall I'm pretty happy with the way things have turned out. We'll see how things travel while we are building. Building with PD - Regent 23 Cascades on Clyde Estate HomeOne Building Thread - PCI Completed - 28th August. Handover - 11th September. Re: Our Providence 24MKII 8Apr 02, 2009 2:52 pm gkj001 It gets frustrating when things don't work out like you thought they would or have been told. I hope it all goes well for you It's hard with building, because there are so many parties involved it's understandable that there are a few miscommunication problems, it just sucks when they affect your wallet. Good luck with your colors, can't wait to see what you choose. Building with PD - Regent 23 Cascades on Clyde Estate HomeOne Building Thread - PCI Completed - 28th August. Handover - 11th September. Re: Our Providence 24MKII 9Apr 16, 2009 10:51 pm The DA's for the demolition of our existing house and the construction of our new house were sent to Council last Wednesday. They have received them so now we just have to wait.

Your colours sound good, we are using Oyster Linea in our bathrooms, everyone that's seen the sample has loved it! it's very nice. Taubmans white canvas, is that a pure white? We have decided on White Smoke but having second thoughts... It seems to have a bit of a green tinge even though there's only yellow and black in the composition... You should post the photos of your samples, not sure which colour the Peruvian Clay Laminex is... We signed the contracts on the 28th March. I will post photos hopefully over the weekend. White Canvas is more of an off white colour. If you have seen the Providence display home at The Ponds it is the wall colour in there. The Peruvian Clay is also the same colour as in the bathroom and ensuite in the display home. Re: Our Providence 24MKII 12Apr 17, 2009 8:57 pm A picture of our interior colours. At the top is our wall colour, in person it is more of an off white colour. Thanks for that info gk001, wow, that was fast going into Council, not sure why but with us Wisdom is taking forever!!!! we signed contracts on the 23 of March and only got into Council on the 15 April, not very happy at the moment! I know they are busy but we have been with them since November when we paid the deposit for the tender and signed the tender in December... I really hope this is not a sign of the build process for us... I'll have to walk through the Providence again to check out the wall colours, White Smoke is suppossed to be off white too but I think it might be a bit too greenish at times... Thanks for posting the pics, your colours look good! Building a Wisdom Prosperity 23 - http://erwisdomprosperity.blogspot.com/ Re: Our Providence 24MKII 16May 11, 2009 9:28 pm Found out today that our notification stage ended on Friday but the council won't release the DA Approval until they have received paperwork they are waiting on for the demolition. I have chased this up with the demo guys last week and today. It's so frustrating having it out of our control. To be so close and only 1 piece of paper holding it up Re: Our Providence 24MKII 17May 11, 2009 10:12 pm Hang in there gjk001, it gets frustrating when you are so close and 1 little thing holds it up but I am sure you'll get sorted soon, good luck. We are still waiting to hear back from Council, it seems like the Senior assessment and everything has been done (notification finished a week and a bit ago) but it's showing as still under assessment on the website, very frustrating but we can only wait I guess! It certainly is bigger then what mine will be! If your going through Wollondilly Council, where abouts are you building? Ours went through Camden council! Building Our First Home!
