MyHomeoneThread Our Oxford22 Blog Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 792Aug 15, 2010 12:14 pm Hi guys, I've purchased an Alamanda land back in January 2010 in stage 9 and i'm just wondering if you know any news of when it will be settled? Shouldn't it supposed to be sequential? I have seen all stage 10 onwards land being titled!! I went to have a look yesterday and there is no way that it will be titled in September, there's no roads, no street signs, no driveway, no footpath, no lamp post.. thanks! glad i found this community -Site Start - 27th Jan 2011 Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 793Aug 15, 2010 1:41 pm vtac82 Hi guys, I've purchased an Alamanda land back in January 2010 in stage 9 and i'm just wondering if you know any news of when it will be settled? Stages 10, 11 and 12 (maybe even 13?) were put on sale prior to stage 9. I figure this is because they thought stage 9 would increase in price further as it is closer to the wetlands? Most of the stages have been released late unfortunately. Ours was 4-5 months late (stage 7), not sure about the others... Maybe if you speak to Joel in the sales office he could give you a better idea? Building Monaco32 with Carlisle Homes in Alamanda Estate 20/08/2010 - HANDOVER 24/8!! I rang Joel about 1 month ago and he said it will be in September - i don't think that will happen based on what i was seeing yesterday. -Site Start - 27th Jan 2011 Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 795Aug 15, 2010 6:53 pm vtac82 Hi guys, I've purchased an Alamanda land back in January 2010 in stage 9 and i'm just wondering if you know any news of when it will be settled? Thankfully ours didn't get pushed back too far; the block ended up titling on the 16th June (I think?) and settlement was the 30th June. Looking through my blog, streetlights were in at the end of April, the footpaths and driveways were in at the end of May, and street signs were installed at the start of June. So hopefully not too much longer for you guys in Stage 9! Good luck with your build! Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 797Aug 15, 2010 7:07 pm by the way guys, when i went to see the land yesterday there was a lot of coloured pegs on soil. like the below: http://blogpress.w18.net/photos/10/02/05/89.jpg photo taken from Chris&Emma's blog What are these? Does this mean it's close to finishing? -Site Start - 27th Jan 2011 Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 798Aug 15, 2010 7:19 pm vtac82 by the way guys, when i went to see the land yesterday there was a lot of coloured pegs on soil. like the below: http://blogpress.w18.net/photos/10/02/05/89.jpg photo taken from Chris&Emma's blog What are these? Does this mean it's close to finishing? It looks like their land had already titled and the builder had started prepping the land. The coloured pipes, are (I think) the downpipes... It looked like in that photo that they weren't far off from having their slab foundations delivered and slab poured (ie portaloo is in). Generally the coloured pegs on the blocks that haven't settled/titled indicate the edges/boundaries of the block. They look like little survey pegs - wooden posts, sometimes coloured, or with coloured flags tied around them. Hope that helps!
