Re: National B.G. price freeze????? 2Mar 28, 2009 11:48 am Hi, We first signed up with NBG in Jan 08, we hadnt even bought the land yet but knew which one we wanted, we had two days left till the end of that month to catch those extras and price. They kept their word and fixed the price for 3 months even though there was a price rise. we then received our quotations with the locked in price in April which we were given two weeks or so to sign. We then signed our contracts in June. By that time i think the house price had gone up by about $10,000 or even more (its $25,000 more NOW) but it was done up with the original price we first locked in, we were very pleased with the outcome, they were very friendly the whole time and tried to accomodate our different needs and understood the difficulties we had with the developers of the land. The land didn't settle until mid Jan 09! so we are hoping building can finally start by the end of April.
