HELP!!! 582Aug 21, 2009 6:24 pm Hey beejay sorry to hear about the ac problems but i agree with other comments on converting to 3 phase power and leave the bigger unit in place . Now you do have the option of getting qoutes from sparkys so thins might vary from tradie to tradie and ask ur friends if anyone knows one this might bring the price down .... Re: BJ's Regent23 - AIRCON DRAMA!!!! HELP!!! 584Aug 24, 2009 9:44 am lisanne BJ I have a really weird request! Are you able to take a photograph of the toilet roll holder and towel rails? Here are the pics of the towel rail and holder... ...better late than never, huh? No, they left it out altogether... Funnily enough, the towel rail doesn't fit the wall space - on any Regent plan... from what I have been told! Our Construction Manager has said he will get us some alternative towel thingies that we can put on each side of the vanity... I think it will be much better Building with PD - Regent 23 in Point Cook WE'RE IN!!! Landscaping! Re: BJ's Regent23 - In & Unpacking! 588Aug 24, 2009 4:29 pm Congratulations on the move, unpacking sucks though right Everything looks fabulous Can I ask about your floor tiles and wet area tiles, you wouldn't happen to have the code/name would you? My brother has just signed up to build Lisbon with PD and they are after similar coloured tiles, were they standard or an upgrade? My karma ran over your dogma Re: BJ's Regent23 - In & Unpacking! 589Aug 24, 2009 4:44 pm haywgl Congratulations on the move, unpacking sucks though right Everything looks fabulous Can I ask about your floor tiles and wet area tiles, you wouldn't happen to have the code/name would you? Or if they were from the standard range? Or if they were from the standard range? I forgot that part! Sorry... The living room floor tiles (kimberly smoke) were upgrades, but I think the others were not. I will check again tonight when I get home and let you know! Sorry! Building with PD - Regent 23 in Point Cook WE'RE IN!!! Landscaping! Re: BJ's Regent23 - In & Unpacking! 594Aug 25, 2009 8:55 pm Okily Dokily... The Kimberly Smoke tiles in the entrance, living, laundry etc, was an upgrade, all up about $900 The Veneto Black in both bathrooms was also an upgrade but not much, just 250 extra all up. Oh, and my car was broken into today at Laverton train station... We've only been here a week... Makes me so angry that people do that. They didnt steal anything as I dont leave valuables in my car... but its going to cost me $500 excess to get the window replaced and the scratches cleaned up. Re: BJ's Regent23 - In & Unpacking! 595Aug 25, 2009 9:09 pm Oh that's terrible BJ Isn't there a police station right near that train station?? Or am I getting mixed up with another train station along there? After all these break ins at stations along that line (I have heard of a few on here now)... I think my DP will drive to work rather than train it... It's pretty sad when it comes down to the fact that people don't feel safe leaving their cars at the train stations... This past weekend I built a retaining wall in my front yard! Never done it before, so had a friend give me a hand. I used red gum railway sleepers with treated timber support posts behind. I still will sand them all back, then I will stain it to closely match the front door Oh, and our plantation shutters finally arrived on Saturday! Yay! They really make the rumpus and study look TOTALLY different. Actually I think the rumpus now looks comfy and warm... whereas before, well it was cold and dull The ensuite blind was installed too. They forgot it 2 weeks ago, so we have been showering in the dark Amazing how a single blind can make a room look completely different... Heres my front retaining wall, in its current state. Sanding and staining will occur next weekend. I also have heaps of soil arriving next Saturday, which will fill the front, and the rest will be spread around the back yard... Thanks I can't believe I am actually doing the work myself... I never thought I had it in me... and I have the horrible blisters to prove it We have 2 redirections in place. Our old, old place PLUS our new place. Both go to our old temporary address (from during the build). I think I have now changed our addresses on everything now & I think we have about 2 weeks left on the redirection. So got to have a letter box well and truly by then!!
