Matt Hi Matt, I thought so as well, but the dates are somewhat different. From what i have heard, there are a lot of people in a lot of financial pain atm. I agree. After reading the news docs there is some heartache out there!! Matt Re: Any good/bad experiences with LJ Hooker Hampton Park h/l pac 6May 06, 2007 7:23 am I tell you what, it reeks of something very smelly.....
From that last news article: Quote: John Marvelli, of LJ Hooker Hampton Park, last week confirmed the firm was under investigation by Consumer Affairs Victoria, but said it had changed hands since the alleged offences. "The allegations (by Mr McBride) are made against the previous owner and have nothing to do with the current owner of the business," said Mario Merlo, of MMR Legal, yesterday. The LJ Hooker Hampton Park agency was previously owned by Southern Star Real Estate Pty Ltd, with Giovanni (John) Marvelli named as the director in Australian Securities & Investments Commission documents. Southern Star Real Estate was placed into liquidation this year. The agency is now owned by New Age Real Estate Pty Ltd, with Maria Marvelli -- who is listed as living at the same Narre Warren address as Giovanni Marvelli -- named as its director. Is this Giovanni/John the same character? Think so. And what's the odds 'Maria' is his wife or blood relative? Pretty darn good I reckon! Same address.... Same field..... Same agency! Methinks it didn't really 'change hands' - merely changed name to escape the ramifications. Re: Any good/bad experiences with LJ Hooker Hampton Park h/l pac 8May 21, 2007 7:14 pm i know this topic is getting a little old now, however i believe many people out there need to be wary of ******* practices such as this one...
