What will happen with the alfresco/pool? do they come and redo it for you? Congrats again!!! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: Building Our Home with PD - Update 722Sep 22, 2009 2:53 pm Thanks Lisa for the info on the tiles.. my brother will actually be able to seal the grout for me as he used to work in the carpet cleaning/grout sealing business and all i'll need to do is pay for the product and he's do the sealing. I might give National Tiles a call first though and double check that what we'll be sealing with will be okay. Kek, I was actually thinking of the shower.. but will definately check the kitchen tap as that also doesn't have much pressure! Am so happy with the new garage door. Frosty.. I think I'm fine with the Issues because I know my SS will find a way to fix them for me. Lucky I'm not claustrophobic though! Jodie, our SS will call tommorrow about the slab.. he has to speak to his boss. I highly doubt they will do anything about it.. but it can't be good having water like that so close to the house and not moving. I'd assume they'd need to pour some concrete over it to make it flow away from the house. But I guess we'll see.. we just paid $250 to have it painted and sealed.. so not sure what they'd do about that. It seems a bit of a pain about the tiles, I really think PD should get a better clean if this is happening. Blessed.. I found my camera cord and put it aside somewhere to take to work.. and do you think I can find where i safely put it?!@# ARGGGGH. I just want to show you all the photos!! TimmyDunlop Now erinleigh... time to look back on everything that's happened and laugh Your a bit braver then me.. I'm still bitter at our Broker. PD have been fantastic and I can definately look back at all those issues and laugh. But the broker... I still sometimes sit and wonder how someone could be such an idiot. She told us with because of our short valuation.. even after all our additinal funds, we'd be short about $1,500 and we would need to find the money for this at settlement. So we ended up taking quite a few things out of the contract. At settlement we had $1,300 surplus funds.. GAH! She still irritates me and I'm not even dealing with her anymore. We are yet to start our build and are still deciding which oval bath to pick... just wondering if you know the brand/name of your bath? I tried to look it up on the PD website, but they just say "designer acrylic" bath... Thanks, Roz Land settlement = 23/09/09 YAY!! On a sep note, I can't understand for bathroom tiling, why the silly bulders can't just continue tiling the itty bitty space between the bathtub and the vanity! Mine has a similar gap as well to yours and I'm going to try my luck with the tiler to see if he can just tile it..... your table and chairs looked so lonely in the corner of the dining area... Re: Our Home with PD - A Few Pics 2/10 734Oct 03, 2009 10:17 am Thanks S&PII, Roz, Frosty, TC & Lisa! Lisa, We set up the table and chairs the night we got keys and had our favourite thai food there.. we got heaps and were too excited and tired too eat!! Pity we didn't have a fridge to keep the leftovers. I don't mind the bathroom tiling actually.. it would probably be more appropriate to have it tiled all the way accross.. but we won't be using that bathroom for quite a few years. Roz, the bath is Decina Uno Bath. Thanks frosty.. i wish our oven was beautiful on both the inside and outside. Will post some more pics tonight.. not sure what's wrong with my camera.. but all my pics are so blurrrrry. Must clean the lens and take some in natural light, hopefully this will fix it. Re: Our Home with PD - A Few Pics 2/10 735Oct 03, 2009 3:42 pm I love your colour scheme for the bathroom. Did you get your inspiration from a PD display home or was it a colour scheme you already had in mind? Good to see one in real life, not just in a brochure... I'm probably going with the Lanark Angie, which looks quite similiar. I hope my bathroom turns out as lovely as yours... and that my little boy enjoys our new bath as much as your kids look like they're enjoying yours. Land settlement = 23/09/09 YAY!! With the water pressure in the shower, if you take the shower head off at the wall, there's a valve/washer in the end of it. If you take that out you will have perfect water pressure! We did it as soon as we realised how bad the pressure was. Hope this helps Built with Dennis Family Homes Cascades on Clyde All moved in now!!!!
