Re: House to be... 50Jun 10, 2009 9:48 am wakeboardandy wow.. how did I miss this thread!! another caraway and I totally missed this thread.. you need to change your subject line to something that stands out more.. I see you already have your oven and stove.. looks like they do that earlier in the country... down here they would get stolen in a flash.. that is one great thing about the country, not as many thefts on a building site. Anyway house looks great... we are getting close to handover and I couldn't recommend JG King enough to anyone else looking to build. I don't know how to change my subject name can someone help me!!!!! I've been trying to do it for agers Yeah security we don't really have any, no fences or anything like that. We are pretty lucky down here. Fingers crossed so far Painting started yesterday and tiles are due to arrive next week. Getting close now, still don't have a definate date though. Its all getting very exciting, i'm starting to buy all the big things like furniture and appliances. Can't wait. I keep driving up there like 3 times a day (maybe a little obsessive) but i just want to stare at it Building with JG king start date 11/3/09 Re: House to be... 51Jun 10, 2009 10:24 am leaht wakeboardandy wow.. how did I miss this thread!! another caraway and I totally missed this thread.. you need to change your subject line to something that stands out more.. Re: House to be...kitchen pics 8/6/09 52Jun 10, 2009 12:17 pm Hey Leah Your house is looking great! Keep the pictures coming! I was in a tiling shop over the weekend and they had the same border tiles as you are having for your bathroom. I fell in love with them straight away so I am interested to see what they will look like once they are up! What colour colourbond is your roof?? Hey this is a pretty random question, but how much benchspace (in cm's) do you have either side of your hotplates? I've just had a look at my kitchen plan and I have barely any benchspace there It would drive me crazy not having much room to work over that side of the kitchen, but I dont have too much room to extend the bench - about the amount you have would be perfect! Nat, I don't have heaps of bench space but i think it'l be enough for me. I figure the more bench space you have the more mess you make. I've got 60cm each side of the cooktop. We can open the doors about 90 degrees when flush but if I want to pull out draws and trays for cleaning I would have to pull the fridge out of the recess a bit more. If your fridge is going to sit forward of the cupboards I think you would only need to leave about an inch for air. Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: House to be...kitchen pics 8/6/09 57Jun 11, 2009 7:55 am Wow !! Love your kitchen !!! Looks gorgeous ! Re: House to be...kitchen pics 8/6/09 59Jun 12, 2009 9:25 am Painting well i'm loving the colour they have only done undercoat and windowsils as of yesterday so i'll go up there and take some pics this morning before work. Although when i went yesterday my lovely front wood door that is supposed to be stained has been painted the same colour as my internal walls! Was not happy, now they have to replace the whole door! Don't you think that if i upgrade to a lovely wood door that i wouldn't want it painted over! Anyway little stuff up which can easily be fixed, however i'm not paying for their stuff up. The painter read it wrong when he was figuring out all the colours. Will hopefully have some more photos soon. Then i was informed yesterday that tiling may not start straight after the painting apparently hes far behind!!
