Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 18, 2009 8:00 pm Hi all,
we've got a waffle slab and I'm not impressed with the finish. There is about 12 inches of slab exposed all the way around the house. The builder has told me that's how it is and its now a 'landscaping issue'. I can't fill it in all the way around as the fill would come up so high on the fences that I would need to get retaining walls. The finish of the slab is really rough and ugly... so it would need to be rendered or something. How does everyone else's look and what did you do? photos please if you can thanks, anthea Re: waffle slab finish- photos please! 2Mar 18, 2009 8:24 pm Sorry to say, but that's a waffle slab...
