Certainly best to confirm with your CSR first. I heard stories of new house owner who got all the new furnitures, appliances installed without any alarm system, and someone broke into the house a few days before they move it. Although they claim everything back through insurance, it's a very long process and quite bad experience... Make sure you got your alarm installed before installing any appliances!
