Re: Wisdom Impression 38MK II - Landscaping done 182Aug 21, 2009 1:39 pm Wow! What a difference a bit of grass makes! Your yard looks fantastic (and heaps bigger) now! I really like your balcony and laundry screen doors, too. I've been looking for something similar that keeps the flies out but doesn't ruin the look of the lovely glass doors! Oh and I want to see a photo of your puppy dog when he gets home! Building a Wisdom Homes Impression 33 MkII http://lilypadintheponds.blogspot.com/ We have the keys! Tiling in progress... I was thinking about what I should do with the blog, how do I finish it off? It has been a big part of my life for the last year. Do I just stop as there is not much more to show. cielly, I will take some pic's on the weekend of the blinds so that you can see them. And here is the pic of our skinny doggie. Hopefully it will work, as we still don't have internet at home arghh this time it's a Telstra fault as they haven't allocated the number as yet, so whoever we try to get internet from, they all say the same thing that phone number is not connected. Nothing else will do Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Wisdom Impression 38MK II - More bedroom pics 186Aug 24, 2009 9:57 am danma MKTodd danma just wondering what window coverings you went with for your house? (& if you had any pics). Were currently looking at different options but aren't too sure what to go with, as the wisdom homes have alot of windows alot larger than the norm. We went for the double rollers on most of the windows, I will take some pics on the weekend & put them up so that you can see them. They are good on most windows but with the long short ones the chains have to be longer than the window depth or they are really hard to put up. I will show you what I mean in the photo. In hindsight I probably would have put plantation shutters on those windows. The rollers look really neat & everyone comments that comes over. The landscaping has been done & we are really happy with it, the kids are loving it. We are getting the dog back this afternoon as he has been at the kennels. I am sure that he will explore every inch of the grass. Re: Wisdom Impression 38MK II -Double roller blind pics 25/8/09 189Aug 25, 2009 11:50 am Thanks for that Danma.. We tosing up between double rollers or white Privacy Plus Venetian Blinds, we found a brand where they click into each other so block out all the light (sometimes do shift work). But are thinking the double roller for our massive window over the stairs... sooo many decisions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Impression 38MK II -Double roller blind pics 25/8/09 190Aug 25, 2009 8:33 pm Thanks for the pics Danma, they sure look good. I know what you mean about the long skinny windows, that's why we want plantation shutters there but they are just so expensive! anyone know of any place that does them for a reasonable price? all the quote we've been getting are around $900 for that window alone! What are those Privacy plus Venetian blinds you mentioned MKTodd? would you mind sending me a link? Hubby and I can't seem to agree on what to use for each area of the house! It's nice to see it with all of the accessories. Jochicho how funny, WE are getting plantation shutters in our place too. This is the main reason why we got the white windows . I have just started researching it the other day and I found this link on one of the threads on H1. They seem to be cheap enough and they do basswood too which I think will be the ones that we go for. I am not sure what window that you mean that has been quoted $900 but there is a little quote calculator on the site that will be of great use to you. http://www.woodnation.com.au/ContactUs.php Hope this helps. Hubby and I can't seem to agree on what to use for each area of the house! http://www.iseekblinds.com.au/blinds/wwind.asp We would like plantation shutters too but they are so expensive, especially with the larger than normal windows that Wisdom seems to like. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Building the Aspiration 35MKII with Wisdom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://pondsaspiration.blogspot.com/ Re: Wisdom Impression 38MK II -Double roller blind pics 25/8/09 193Aug 26, 2009 11:22 pm Thanks MkTodd, now I know which ones they are, that website seems to have decent prices too. Yeah, that's why we are only considering that one window for the plantation shutters... Too damn expensive! I found a couple of websites that had them cheaper than anyone else... You have to install them yourself in some of them and a couple of others they are the kits that you put together yourself... Ahhhh, decisions, decisions, decisions!
