Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2703Sep 25, 2013 11:09 am I haven't heard great things about rose garden, but it's personal opinion, it may suit you perfectly. Not sure when the other one will open. The kinder opposite woolworths opens next year, my 2nd will be going for 4 y.o kinder. They will also run 3 y.o kinder. The traffic around there is quite hectic at school times, particularly on lyndarum towards high st. Building the Porter Davis Dunedin 29 maybe, thinking of forfeiting deposit and going with CH or UE Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2706Oct 12, 2013 11:19 am There's a "Coffee & Chat" at the Creeds Farm Living and Learning Centre on Saturday 19th October 2013, from 10:30am to noon. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2708Oct 23, 2013 10:12 am AFAIK it's unfunded both by council, state and federal governments. There is a commercial/industrial park going in adjacent to there so perhaps that's why the maps have been altered. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2710Nov 19, 2013 3:42 pm I used Decorator Curtains and Blinds in Greensborough. Good points: I liked their products (cellular blinds for insulation and blinds that open downwards!); saleswoman wasn't pushy; she suggested a couple of alternatives; a blind cord that broke nearly 5 years later was fixed within the week (just recently). Other points: probably not the cheapest on the market. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2713Dec 14, 2013 12:58 pm Hi, I have just requested a rental place in Aurora. I would like to ask, how does one go about getting internet and phone connected to home. That is, what steps? It is an established home, and I notice there is the locked FTTH cabinet there. Plus what equipment is needed? Do I need a seperate router for wireless around the house? I've looked through the posts here and info is fragmentary.... Also, any recommendations on plans i.e, is the 100 Mb/s possible (would that speed be attainable)? Any help appreciated. Thanks Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2714Dec 17, 2013 9:10 am dougal_s Hi, I have just requested a rental place in Aurora. Find the plan you want, call them up and they will organize everything for you. Only that you will need to be home when they come to activate your internet. As for the differences between those two providers, please refer to previous posts in this thread, plenty information there mate! Aurora is on fiber, so yes, 100Mb/s is possible as long as you pay your ISP LOL. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2715Dec 17, 2013 7:34 pm Has anyone had any issues with their internet? Mine just stopped working yesterday for no reason and now a technician has to come out to reset the locked box or something like that. Problem is the vic urban fibre team are giving me no information as to when I will hear from the technician and I have absolutely no idea when it will get fixed. Very frustrating! Any info or advice as to how i can speed the process along? The thought of not having the net over the holidays is terrifying! Lol Don't think you can speed up the process unfortunately as the FTTH team isn't the nice lot. But your ISP should have a SLA with you which means they need to get it resolved within the time frame stated in the SLA, otherwise they will have to come up something to compensate you. I have a 3G dongle myself so I won't be completely out of net should the same thing happens to me.
