Browse Forums Building A New House Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4441Feb 12, 2018 12:39 pm In December I asked Lendlease what was up with the Edgars Rd extension (from Harvest home Rd to Craigieburn Rd east) as it seemd to be built but fenced off. Lendlease replied that they were waiting for council approval to open the road. After two months and multiple contact attempts to Whittlesea council (they don't answer emails or return calls apparently) Whittlesea council has advised that Lendlease has not completed the works yet and that is why council has not approved the works. So basically, it seems everyone is blaming everyone else, for a road that was scheduled to open December 2016. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4443Feb 26, 2018 3:01 pm Someone has stolen them. It's pretty common. Notify the council. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4444Feb 26, 2018 9:28 pm Has anyone in Aurora been experience issues with their iinet Internet connection lately. I have noticed that, since last month our fibre speed has deteriorated significantly. Especially during the evenings, we are sometimes lucky to get 1mbps when we are paying for 25mpbs speed ? We had similar issues last year untill Places victoria added extra bandwidth, I am not sure if is the same issue again this year. Is anyone able to shed some light on it ? ashrey|^| Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4445Feb 26, 2018 9:39 pm ashrey Has anyone in Aurora been experience issues with their iinet Internet connection lately. What are the site costs? I am quoted about 40K. We built near that area but in Eaststone ave area quote was 20k that was 3 yrs ago. The "fixed" site cost has come out to be $30K. It is $10K less than what was initially quoted. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4455Aug 30, 2018 6:14 pm Hi everyone, Is anyone building in aurora stage 14-16? Ive been advised by lendlease that there is a fault with all electrical into stage 14 thus impacting 15-16. Our builder is looking to charge us $160 per day until electricity is available to the block. Has anyone had experience with this and how did u go about it? Thanks all Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4456Sep 05, 2018 8:51 am Zaaw, we’re currently building on stage 15, and have not heard anything from our builder with regards to electricity issues. But I believe they do have power generators when working onsite. On a side note, I am loving this thread, thanks to all the useful building tips and recommendations. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for fencing in the area? I’ve tried calling Aman (the guy recommended by a couple of members here), but unfortunately he no longer does it. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4457Sep 30, 2018 10:01 am Hi guys, I know this as been discussed before... But, any recommendation for opticomm providers from recent experience ? Looking into active8me or telesurf, but they have mixed reviews on the product review website. I'm in stage 10 (Aurora). Thanks!!! Looking for an unlimited 100/40 plan and I am located in Aurora stage 10. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4458Oct 30, 2018 10:17 am I have been using IINET since Oct 17. great bandwidth and no nasty drops. Had only one outage for last one year, that turned out to be a planned one. customer support is awful though.
