Please note you will be slugged $300 when you connect to NBN. Just got that advise from my Telco. Foxtel no existing line in our area it will be done through satellite unless u bundle it through your provider. Is your estate through Opticomm Cav? If so you will get cable Foxtel, digital TV and Fibre Internet when they connect your home. Im still going with Telstra bec my contract is not ending till mid next year otherwise I would change...im been hearing about a provider called republic. I haven't checked yet. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4283May 08, 2017 5:36 pm pwu well done cavalry.....thanks are you ready to move in? nothing free.....connection fee...money money.... On another note thieves has struck our build and stole all our door handles seriously?!? Who does that? Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 4290May 15, 2017 8:15 am rupeshcha Hi all, I am trying to get some information, how to get internet for building NBN connectivity by Opticomm in Aurora, do I contact Opticomm first for connection and contact service provider for plans ? You need to book a connection request online first. It will cost you $300 or so. They will then book a time to come out and connect your home so you can contact an ISP to arrange internet. Just Google Opticomm for their website. Just to clarify, you won't be getting NBN. You are getting privately owned fine by Opticomm. It is called Fibre to the Estate so make sure you tell your provider that as if you say NBN they won't be able to find you in their system.
