Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 17, 2009 8:44 am We are in the planning stages of our house. Im just wanting to get some specs of room sizes everyone has gone for. We arent after a big house - thinking 25 squares including an undercover alfresco as a maximum.
We want a master with ensuite, 2 kids rooms (just standard size), a kids play area (just a smidge smaller then a sitting room), bathroom, WC and a bigish laundry, a study/guest room that is big enough for a desk and a folded out sofa bed, and a kitchen, dining, lounge area in an L shape - kitchen opposite lounge, with the dinning room next to it. ANY suggestions and information would be hugely appreciated!!! Re: Standard Room Sizes 2Mar 17, 2009 9:14 am This thread should give you an idea of people's expectations of bedroom sizes and things to think about.
https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.p ... droom+size As for living areas, why don't you look at a few plans on line that are of similar size and check out how big the rooms are? Or walk through some displays and get a feel for the size you'll need/want. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.
