It is done by a private company and can be completed in around 10days. Thanks! I'd forgoten about the CDC. Originally my house was going to go over the 330sqm total floor area (includes upper and lower floors). Now I have a type B block I should be good with this. I'll ask Wisdom about it when my finance comes through. We are building the Destiny 19 MkIII and cant wait to get started! We have put a deposit on a block and are going in to do the tender Easter monday. Are there any of you who have gone through the tender who have haggled with Wisdom? If so do they budge much on their prices? We are basically getting every upgrade concievable so im keen to see if they will knock anything off the base price as the base price includes alot of standard inclusions that we will be getting replaced with the upgrades. Re: building a wisdom home at spring farm 36Apr 09, 2009 4:15 pm Went out to Minto and has a look at the Display homes out there today. The Destiny is still a very nice home, and would be considered if come in a few other size ranges. We walked into some other display homes in the complex there and quickly after walked straight back out. Wisdoms designs are just really good. Re: building a wisdom home at spring farm 37Apr 10, 2009 12:09 pm We also went to minto to have alook at the display homes, Wisdom by far as the best layouts compared to other display homes, Urbansytle homes have good layouts as well. Answer on your question on flexiable on prices, not really they stick to the prices take it or leave it. We tried but not with much luck, We had been chatting to them for a while so we didnt have to pay the price increase of $2000 so i guess that is a saving lol. www.buildingwithwisdomhomes. blogspot.com gilese Went out to Minto and has a look at the Display homes out there today. At least its done now and all we have to do is sit back and wait Re: building a wisdom home at spring farm 39Apr 13, 2009 8:01 pm We were just like you keep string it out to try and get more of a discount and i play hard ball, But nothing if you want to build with them you will pay the price they request lol. We had colour selections last weekend but it wasnt as smooth as i thought it was going to be we still have not comfirmed colours. Plus they only picked up at that appointment that the windows in the kitchen wouldnt work as we were having overhead cupboards. So they have to re-done and sent for DA again it kinda ** me off that they had not seen it. Tells me that we have to look closer at everthing they give us. I think that they are use to people walking in saying i will have my house like the show home, Because we wanted to pick and choose colours they seem to get alittle lost with our selections and we were not sure ourself's. jake84 1sttimer We also went to minto to have alook at the display homes, Wisdom by far as the best layouts compared to other display homes, Urbansytle homes have good layouts as well.
