Regards For the homes we were interested in, the price ranged from $210K to $250K. They quote prices on completed home with extras (ie. decked out displayed home). The prices also includes surcharge fee for travelling to the Northern suburbs which varies from $5K - $13K depending on the builder. Premier represent about 6 different builders. We have planned a knockdown/rebuild on our block. Our soil test shows that we have H class soil (prior to demolition) and a one metre fall from left to right. As our block is surrounded by large trees (about 20 years old) we have been told that root barriers are required as well as a large 1.6m retaining wall in addition to the excavation and extra cost for H class slab. Sorry but unfortunately that's an area in which I do not have any expertise. One thing though would be to get a second opinion. Earthworks companies or other builders perhaps?
