My house that I am planning needs to be low maintenance. Its fairly close to the beach. And I am leaning towards brick instead of metal cladding for zero maintenance. Considering brick which in theory is better because you never need to paint it. But then again is colorbond for wall cladding really good? Color is also important so what I am after is a white or blue brick. I read somewhere about stained bricks with a 25 year guarentee , but that sounds like i need to paint it in 25 years. Have i got it right? Are bricks the way to go for zero maintenance? Has anyone seen unstained blue coloured bricks , or a nice white brick? Cheers Noremac Re: Zero maintenance goal .
