and well 32 would have been too good but have to look at the $$ issues as well that's going to be my first home so taking small steps. so any color suggestions or suggestion on the things to upgrade ..., stuff like that ? Re: SOHO 27 by M3tric0n (2 years build time) 5Mar 05, 2009 5:22 pm The soho was the one house we instantly fell in love with while house hunting.
The 27 is a good size house and was perfect for our estate covenant and it just felt right but the fact it could not be modified to accomodate our boat meant we ended up designing our own. Lucky we did as we just found out our neighbour is building the soho as well. I love the black and white theme in the display home on the website. Which facade are you going with. Re: SOHO 27 by M3tric0n (2 years build time) 6Mar 05, 2009 5:30 pm The SOHO is such a nice house! Congratulations and I hope the build goes well for you. We are building with M in country vic and things have been mostly good. Do you have a copy of the electrical plan without any upgrades? If you dont, I think it would be a good idea to get one sent to you so you can plan it out before your appointment. What are you thinking of upgrading? Re: Building SOHO 27 by M 15Apr 26, 2009 7:50 pm kamranshakil Thanks Ryan, Yeah i have the standard electrical plan with me, thinking to put Net meter exterior lights Tv aerial One data cable from TV area to study area. Exterior power switches hmmm this is coming in the mind right now... what upgrades did you choose ? We went all out with the electricals. I am not sure about the Soho, but the Lindeman had a pretty standard electrical plan so we added the following: Heaps and heaps of power points (internal and external) Downlights to main living areas and outdoor room TV points to games room and master bed Dimmer and two way switches here and there Floodlights outside Phone points Surge protection Feature lights to facade Upgrade to four star central heating and extra vent to ensuite Exhaust fan to toilet A Partridge in a pear tree?? Depends on your lifestyle etc etc. I love the Soho though. Awesome house plan. Good luck mate!
