I havent posted this yet, but bricks are in Austral Tan, category 1 Carlisle. BTW roof is in Sambuca Traditional. Those pics are before they got cleaned, so I'll remember to take a pic of it this week. And the pic of render in there is fresh and not dry in pic. How many Atlantiques out there? 13Mar 05, 2009 7:32 pm sorry S&P, no antlique here, but I love you home and block is big at 590sqm, it just doesn't seem so with a big house too! But that's all good...
I was wondering, what mortar are you going with, with your Austral tan bricks (I'm assuming it's the homestead range). We are offered them too, but we chose Red Gum (both are standard - we didn't want to pay to upgrade the bricks!)... but every day I wonder if I chose the right colour... How many Atlantiques out there? 14Mar 05, 2009 7:34 pm I think the Tan bricks are great for standard bricks. Red Gum is pretty good too, but really depends on your colour scheme. The mortar is Natural on paper, but I think they may have done it 'accidentally' as offwhite. It looks almost white, so thats a plus, no extra money! And BTW the house is 36.53 squares, 337 sqm.
