Browse Forums Building A New House screw piles 5Mar 05, 2009 10:02 am I'm not sure if i'm being ripped off or not now. It looks like the screw piles next to our easement are 2.68 deep, not sure about the other side-i think i'll get them to itemise it all to be sure. Thanks for the info. Re: does anyone know the cost of a screw pile? 6Jul 22, 2022 7:33 pm I need screws to reenforce an adjacent wall. Called a couple of providers, they said $800 per screw, supplied, delivered and installed. Re: does anyone know the cost of a screw pile? 7Jul 22, 2022 8:25 pm All depends on where you are, site access, what sort of rating on the screw piles, the length of the screw piles and how many you need. The more screw piles you need, the cheaper the cost per screw piles. We did a screw piles installation early this year and costed us around $250 per screw piles @ 3m length installed for 76 of them (Melbourne Metro). Re: does anyone know the cost of a screw pile? 9Jul 25, 2022 12:27 pm I have three screw piles for $1,600 here in WA. Depth is simply quoted as "pool depth + 300mm". Pool is probably around 1700mm deep at the point the screw piles are required, so call it 2000mm depth. So around $530 each or $266/m Re: does anyone know the cost of a screw pile? 10Jul 25, 2022 1:18 pm Nice, we are waiting for the engineer spec, before tendering out to a few local providers 🙏 Re: does anyone know the cost of a screw pile? 11Aug 03, 2022 10:06 pm Oakland Projects All depends on where you are, site access, what sort of rating on the screw piles, the length of the screw piles and how many you need. Hi, can you tell me name of the company that you used please. Thanks We used a company called Solidity in Thomastown. They did a really good job with the install. Do the math concrete is $200m3 -> 10 m of piling + auger+ pump +rebar, etc Here's a tip, If you are in corrosive soils or adjacent to a pool then think twice about steel piles-> go concrete Goodluck Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs If what you describe is correct then the brick wall has been dry lined with villa board.
