Browse Forums Building A New House Re: williams landing 2068Jan 30, 2013 10:17 pm I think I am in stage 4. I called NBN & they told me that our area is not in the initial group & it will take around ~3 years when NBN will be rolled-out melbourne. It is frustrating because NBN is still couple of years away & telstra is not investing in new ports as they know NBN is on the way!! All stages above stage 9 will have NBNco (I think) everything else is considered brownfield and need to be served by other service providers. They are because there is space in Williams Landing for a set of Telstra ports that would have been installed if the NBN rollout did not go ahead. He installed an aircon and some outdoor lights for us and we couldn't be happier. He's very professional, knowledgeable and offers very competitive rates. He did an excellent job for us, was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to inquiries. A true gem! Yes agree - I posted positive feedback on Brendan too as he installed an airconditioner for us also. We will get him back for more work soon. Re: williams landing 2077Feb 14, 2013 7:50 am Also, work has commenced on the Masters site, and there is a press release from last week on the Williams Landing website. Its scheduled for an early 2014 opening. I hate to think what that means for the shopping centre... Originally they said late 2013/early 2014... now its 2014. But if it takes Masters 1 year to build a tin a shed.... hmmm... I hope they do and finish it before the train station is open. Or we as residents may need to write a collective letter to Cedar Woods to do this. hello, Williams Landing! Ohhh.. how exciting! I used to drive right to the end of Palmers rd just to check. But then nothing really changed and I stopped doing it. I am looking forward to going into the city on the train again! Considering it's going to be a zone 2 station, I have hope that the car park shouldn't be full. Any news on shuttle bus/public transport servicing the new train station to WL / Pt cook?
