Had one of the nicest meals. I had Chicken breast with brie cheese, fresh basil and dried tomatoes on a bed of the tastiest pumpkin mash, and some broccolini. Husband had the beef cheeks. Son had eye fillet rare and daughter-in-law had duck risotto. All our meals were delicious. The place looks really nice and inviting. On this one meal I would certainly recommend you try it out. It still has a lot of work to be done, but who cares. Great meals. Of course the pokies are in. There is also a sports bar. Will be nice to walk down to in the summer months for a few ales and stagger gently home. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. I thought it a bit strange a staff person sitting at the computer which was in the middle of dinning room, look like she was the bookkeeper.. This may change once the renos are done.. We had banging and power tools going off.. The upside, because not real busy at moment we had three waitresses ask us if everything was ok (mayb they were embarrassed about the noise) My daughter had chicken parm and it was the biggest you have ever seen.. She eat every bit of it (her favourite meal) myself had coffee and pastry.. the small cakes were in the fridge and i had to lean over the bar to try and read the writing on the glass fridge door to see what was on offer.. ( This needs to improve ) I went for the pastry and was asked if i wanted it heated.. i asked how long had it been in the fridge and they said since yesturday so i said - mmmm ok mayb you will need to... I think it will be a nice hang out place, it has child playground area, so it may suit families.. Once the landscaping is completed it should be a not so bad local eatery... Re: williams landing - land under valuations 2138May 21, 2013 4:00 pm hi walkz187 & Others, We had gone through the same issue of land valuations coming in significantly lower and in our case we wanted to try and stick to the same lender(NAB) as we had other privileges that we did not want to let go off by switching lenders... In any case its very strange as different valuation firms view the valuation from a different perspective. I know its not exact science... We got to know of the same issue from one of our neighbours and incidently they were also going through the same lender, in the end we asked for a revaluation and were told we would have to foot the bill for ... seemed like a grab for cash from the valuation gang whoever they might be... Finally we got valuation done from a firm called Opteon Property (they are panel valuers for NAB as well) through another lender(ANZ) even before applying for a loan with them!! The valuation came pretty close to par and that was a great relief. We got our 1st lender to have a look at this new valuation and they agreed to go ahead with this new figure. Its been 6 months since we have moved into our place...so hope this is still relevant for the scenario these days as i would have thought that since the train station is also now operational it should make a difference to these valuation issues... Hope this might help you or others facing the same dilemma... good luck... cheers, koms CH: Albany 40 | Site Clean: 30/07/12 | Site cut: 01/08/12 | Slab: 13/08/12 | Frame: 24/08/12 | Roof: 05/09/12 |Lock up: 28/09/12 | PCI: ... | Handover: 30/11/12 | Moved in: 09/12/12 Re: williams landing 2140Jun 05, 2013 4:08 pm SQ380 Does anyone currently walk to the new station?
