Browse Forums Building A New House Re: AARON J HOMES 2Feb 27, 2009 5:42 pm We went to their display homes at Cascades on Clyde and absolutely loved them. Of course we are already building with someone else and love our builder but like everyone who builds we are kind of addicted to display homes!
Definitely recommend going down to these displays if not just for decorating ideas, they are just what we love (except for those busy chocolate brown tiled floors) Don't know anyone whose built with them, but they seem to put together a decent little package and they weren't over the top pushy salespeople either. Re: AARON J HOMES 3Apr 23, 2009 8:28 pm We have built a home with Aaron J Homes and they were fantastic - we were given personalised treatment all the way through from the Sales Consultant (Lorraine Fuller) to the Supervisor (Paul Anderson). Lorraine was so easy to deal with - she didn't push us for a sale - when we were ready she was ready to help us and all the questions we had she had the answers for (and they were the right ones). The quality of the workmanship is awesome - our house is our home and we love it - what more can I say. Do yourself a favour and go and see new displays at Cascades (off Linsell Blvd) they are just amazing. Lorriane is at these new display homes so if you need some good honest advice go and see her. Re: AARON J HOMES 4Apr 23, 2009 9:53 pm We aren't building with them but we LOVE the boardwalk! When we first started looking at displays that's what we really wanted to build but it was out of our budget and a bit too big for just the 2 of us! (34squares) I think it was the little private spa area off the master bedroom that got us hooked! The quaility of their display looked better than alot of other builders but as for the build process I have no idea Re: AARON J HOMES 5Apr 24, 2009 9:34 am Like Georgie we really liked the Boardwalk, it was actually our second choice for a house, the only thing that turned us off was the master bedroom, robes and ensuite set up and the layout of the kitchen. They offered us an alternative that they had done for another client which suited us but it was going to incur about another $16,000 cost to house and it was starting to blow way past our budget with all of the other extras we wanted. Have heard good things about them though. Lisa- Finally in our house!!! Re: AARON J HOMES 6Apr 24, 2009 9:38 am Had a look at their Pakenham displays on the weekend..... really impressed with them. Love the external storage rooms under the roof line. Sensational. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: AARON J HOMES 7Apr 24, 2009 9:47 am Jo check out their Cascades display, heaps better than Pake IMO - although there are strange voices coming out of the rumpus room so it may be haunted!! Plus they use Fudge Stream on some cupboards... hehe gotta love my fudge stream! Even though the fudge stream is vertical and doesn't look that good with such a busy tile! ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: AARON J HOMES 10Apr 24, 2009 10:41 am Jo, check it out on Sunday and pop in at the BBQ on the way home, you can be an honorary MW member - btw, I'm still laughing at your Hidden Valley thread! ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: AARON J HOMES 12Apr 24, 2009 10:49 am Awww Jo, don't be like that - I doubt we'll be able to find the Hidden Valley anyway! ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: AARON J HOMES 13Apr 24, 2009 10:52 am sparkle Hi, Just had a look at there website and love the boardwalk floorplan, anyone have any idea of the base prices. Thanks Hi Sparkle, House price starts at $204,700.00, but includes lots. carpet & lots of tiling, split ceilings, nice fittings, panel door even dishwasher, telephone point, flick mixer taps, w.i.r fit outs. pretty inclusive, worth a visit to all their displays, they are just beuatiful. cheers Re: AARON J HOMES 15Apr 25, 2009 11:29 pm Possum2, we are building with Pr0Fine. What about yourself? Joles, if you do end up going down to the display, can you please please please check out the laminate colour on the walk in robe/bathroom of the first display for me? It is doing my head in and I love love love it but can't for the life of me figure out which one it is! Thanks a mil! Oh, and don't turn up to our bbq as its been postponed again edit: just spelling ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: AARON J HOMES 16Apr 26, 2009 1:06 pm Nice homes. There are two of them in our neighbourhood. The 4-bedroom version of the Sahara 29 was our second choice. We especially liked the kitchen/pantry/laundry arrangement and the ensuite. We sat down with them several times and were getting close to a final quote. The reasons we didn't end up signing with Aaron J was because some features that were standard with M3tricon, like double glazed windows and a reasonably cheap upgrade to tinted windows with thicker glass, would have been a prohibitively expensive option. Also, some design changes which would have been required to overcome the smallness of the secondary bedrooms was becoming very complicated. That and the fact that even though they build down this way, physical help was at least 100km away. At the end of the day we decided to stay local, even though it was with a volume builder. Oh, and don't turn up to our bbq as its been postponed again edit: just spelling Hi ICK, I am currently looking, but love both the Boardwalk & The Venetian. Still have to clean up my home & put it on the market, about September.Pretty sure I will build with aaron j homes, love there finishes & there is lots included that others charge for. Do you have your start date yet? Re: AARON J HOMES 18Apr 28, 2009 1:52 pm Well we've 'officially' started, we are just having a couple of little hiccups and the weather isn't helping! Where are you looking at for land? Are those two which you like the ones on display at Cascades? ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: AARON J HOMES 19Apr 29, 2009 11:31 pm Hi ICK Glad to hear you have started! weather permitting. I built this house, so I understand the delays. I fell in love with the Boardwalk about a year ago, then they openned the new displays at cascades, it was a new meaning to home. but really 32 squares is alot & now 36 sqares is wow. the decision is what is practical. Two kids four bedroms. but love the activity room for the kids playstation. four bedroom great resale value. w.i.p great storage or do i have the bar and dress up the laundry option. the master bedroom is great in both, but the kitchen is sensational in the venetain..... both over great alfresco areas....The consultant, Lorraine is great to deal with she gives me advice. Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74700 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105532 Hi there!
