We're building a new home, and I'm not confident with choosing colours. The biggest thing is that we're having blackbutt floors throughout, finished in high gloss, and it will be the first thing to hit people in the eye when they enter. I'm looking for a neutral colour scheme, with accents of charcoal, red and maybe a tiny splash of green. Does this sound OK? As I said, I'm not confident. Also I saw in one of your threads that white is the best colour for interior walls, can you suggest a shade of white please? There are so many.

I'm not very good at this kind of stuff also, but I do know that alot of people use Antique white US for their walls and ceiling if you wanted one unified colour. I know Carlisle Homes display houses all have this colour. It's a nice white, not too white, it's got a little cream in it, but not noticeable. That's if you dont want a white white, which might look to stark?
