I'd like a quote for 4.5x4m alfresco with piers and roof tiles. I know that its top-look won't be part of the house, but at least the alfresco will have tiles. I contacted "pregulas are us" and the said that if I want to get tiles and brick piers, that will be at least $12K... So who quoted you guys the $6K figure for roof tiles and piers kind of alfresco ? Cheers Re: Cost of adding alfresco to floorplan ? 23Feb 27, 2009 10:59 am Hi iTalk,
We asked the builder to add it. We contacted the same company as u and got an expensive quote Land Settled 27/04/09. Site Started 30/4/09. Slab poured 21/5/09. Frame up 27/5/09. But I am thinking to cover the whole side, from the back of the garage till the back covering the kitchen area also, hope i make sense to you, so will be a L shape, either pergola or stratco outback sunroof depending on the cost I really want a large undercover area, so i drop the option of having the alfresco through Sim@nds, because 4m*4m is just not enough Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Re: Cost of adding alfresco to floorplan ? 25Feb 27, 2009 11:15 am Hi Claego,
Do we think alike!! Thats exactly what I want as well L shaped covered space.... but then thought the cost will be too much. Therefore thought an alfresco. Once we move in we will look at doing something abt the side yard. I want a good view from my lounge and family area. Please keep me posted on ur progress with options and i will do the same. I haven’t started getting quote yet, but i had a casual chat with Stratco the other day, they said 7k for pengola is workable, but they cannot confirm the actual cost until they see the plan and the size I much prefer the outdoor sunroof option (because of the remote control ), but properly looking at 20k, i will have to see what option i have Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny 2 6424 Hey, I am wanting to add a second toilet to my house, bit we have limited room.
