If you like, check out the blog and the floorplan is in there - plus photos of the actual house. We have made similar changes to Sarah in taking out the rumpus room walls. We are now going with green tea gloss tiles in the laundry (changed around the laminates a bit too... white benchtop and overhead cupboards with burnished wood underbench cupboards). YaY! We ended up delaying our contract signing from May to July so that we could get the extra $6k... Thanks Carlisle and Ruddy and Mr Brumby!!! It also seems the bank is pretty much sorted... Our house loan is in the process of being approved at the moment. Our land loan has already gone through, been approved and as far as I can tell our loan manager has the papers already! I just hope that when our land settles there will be no problems with the bank like a few others have had.. Lastly, we have been visiting our land a fair bit!! Below are some of the most recent pics. It is so exciting to see the land basically ready to build on! We have gutters, footpaths, roads, street lamps, signs, everything except the speed humps!! I just wish we could start building already! Land should be titled at the end of August ready for an October site start... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ our street Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ street sign!!! Dreamhome, we brought our land at resale through a real estate agent. Didn't look too closely at the plans I guess... of course we looked at the fill, slope and orientation etc... But didn't see anything about a fire hydrant on the section 32. Oh well we will just live with it!! Lucky we have an 18m frontage so I think there is still space to park on the nature strip if required. Annietom, can't wait to see it go up too!! We have an October site start. Hopefully if all goes well with permits we will start at the beginning of Oct Building Monaco32 with Carlisle Homes in Alamanda Estate 20/08/2010 - HANDOVER 24/8!! I am in a very similar situation as you, signed the building contract with CH in July, and our land is due to settle in August, but praying for a Sept site start date!! So our land should be on par with your land, but looking at your photos, you land is progressing alot more than ours. We dont have sealed roads yet, and half of the stage's foot paths and driveways arent even done. The land isnt all smoothed out like yours either, our stage still has piles and piles of dirt all over the place. I hope this doesnt mean that our land settlement date doesnt get delayed!!! Idiots are fun, that's why there is one in every village! - Dr. House - Re: Carlisle Homes - Monaco 32 - Contract signed!! w/ Land Pics 91Aug 01, 2009 8:24 pm Wonderland, Our land sounds like it was about the same as yours at the end of May/start of June. I think ours is practically ready to go now, but it has been delayed as they had a few problems putting in main drainage piping in the previous stage. Our stage can't be settled until theirs is. Should definitely be ready by the end of August though Building Monaco32 with Carlisle Homes in Alamanda Estate 20/08/2010 - HANDOVER 24/8!! Blog update 1/8 95Aug 25, 2009 7:23 pm We rang Carlisle to speak to our CLE today. The receptionist took a while to answer and then replied that "she wasn't available" and that we would speak to 'L' instead. Just wondering how other people were advised that their CLE was changed? Were you actually advised or did you only find out the next time you tried to contact them? Building Monaco32 with Carlisle Homes in Alamanda Estate 20/08/2010 - HANDOVER 24/8!! If it is bothering you I would just ask, they have nothing to gain by not telling you if L is permanent - people move on in the workplace cannot do much about that.
