Did i read somewhere previously that scott park are building a display of the Floreat? Cant remember if i read it or if i dreamed about it!! Hi louib76, Yea i heard a whisper along those lines too, sales rep confirmed this, but dont know where, don't know when..... Our Pre Start Consultant confirmed it, but didn't say where. As for the when she said about 9 months at end of October, so that would make it June - July. I bet it would be feeling a lot different now & not just a construction site!!!. Hi Cooper32, plastering has gone well so far except the fact the tradies didnt give an even finish across the house. Window panels and sliding doors have also been installed. As per our CLO next week onwards we should be in lock down stage, fingers crossed. Re: Anyone build/buildiing with Scott Park Home(perth) 559Jan 27, 2010 3:23 pm We have a similar experience as 16SFC. SPH installed colorbond sheeets before christmas break. Apparently the tradies didn’t put the sheet joining roof edges at the back of the house. We thought that it might be due to shortage of tradies or material. After seeing no sign of getting it fixed. We asked our CLO and were surprised to hear that they didn’t know about this at all. She also said that the roof work is not complete yet. By that time we had already received progress claim for roof work. We were under the impression that the roof work is complete hence only SPH made a progress payment claim. SPH guys don’t check what’s happening on the site at all (atleast in our case, as we don’t have a SS. There is area manager is handling our job). We also found some gaps in between the colorbond sheets and around the exhaust pipes. Plus we feel that sheets are bit loose or having less no of screws to hold them to the roof frame. We can hear them rattling if it is bit windy. CLO say they will be silicon to seal the gaps. Our main concern is how do we check it???? Re: Anyone build/buildiing with Scott Park Home(perth) 560Jan 29, 2010 11:27 am Has anyone opted for color bond roof? We would like to know when the roof work is sealed. Is there any way to check that? On our roof we have noticed some gaps around the edges and around the fumed exhaust. We were thinking of get a building inspector to inspect the roof section. Does anyone know what all things they inspect.
