You tricked me for a minute and I thought you meant floor tiles and I was thinking OMG Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 123Apr 29, 2009 6:18 pm Looking really good Tillie, I like the profile of the roof tiles and the colour looks nice with your light windows. What colour will your bricks be? Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, and professionals built the Titanic." Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 124Apr 29, 2009 7:46 pm I love your tiles!! In certain lights they are darker or lighter, very nice (I'm getting the same but the rounded ones!) Here is a pic with the Woodland grey "gutters" and Dune "fascia". Hope it shall look ok Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The front entry and door will be in the Woodland grey, however as the garage is detached that shall be in Dune, as my dear friend who helped me with the colours said it may be too dark all that grey on the door with all of the lighter colours as well as being detached from the house. If the garage and house were joined then I would have gone with the grey garage door... Hope that I have not waffled on Yes Lisanne I just loved the colour also Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 126Apr 29, 2009 10:25 pm Fantastic roof It looks wonderful - you have done a great job with your selections Looking forward to seeing your bricks go up - they are gorgeous My karma ran over your dogma Re: My C@ventry 33 - Tiles are done!!! 127Apr 29, 2009 10:29 pm Abbey_aj Tiles looking really good Tillie, really moving along now, and looking more and more like a house. I feel like it would be a dream to see something happening on my block and parents feel the same about theirs, we keep getting told next week, and next week comes and some other issue arises and we get told another week. Latest i heard today is there is a 'POC' that our builder is waiting for, dont know what is exactly but i think its got something to do with the water connection. My parents have been told to wait due to lack of staff to get paperwork moving along in their office. They have spoken to the manager and things should get moving a little quicker now, orders will be finalised this Friday and work should begin in 7 days. I don't trust anything i hear now, i won't believe it till i see it. every day passes by ever so slooowly hoping that we would hear some good news of some action finally after all this waiting.. So very sorry I missed you post I can totally relate to when the builder's say next week and then it shall be the next week and it never seems to come You do end up doubting EVERYTHING they say as it means nothing... I too had the "we are short staffed" etc... which I can understand can happen, but I believe that it is not too much to ask to be kept up to date with what is going on. I think that I am a pretty easy going person and would expect to be kept in the "loop" of what was going on with my build considering it is a great deal of money that I am investing in their company... Fingers crossed that all will finally get sorted and you both shall see some progress on the blocks Thanks Bel, just maybe the bricks may start this week, well I hope so, if it all doesn't turn into a mud bath that is Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 129Apr 29, 2009 10:44 pm Wow! Tend to question and doubt myself at times when making choices such as these But when I did see these bricks I just fell in love with them love the texture in them and the odd fleck of white and cream a tad hard to see it but they are there Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 131Apr 29, 2009 11:24 pm Stormy  Wow! Well done, Tillie, it looks fantastic...you will be in before me... I doubt it very much...To be honest I am just waiting for something to go pear shaped as from the start there has been delays upon delays But I really hope that is all in the past and the house will be finished in a timely manner from the site start date Re: My C@ventry 33 - Roof tiles are done!!! 132Apr 30, 2009 6:28 am Hi tillie, your tiles look great and I also love your brick selection, it is beautiful!
