Also the holes that are for the screw piles have been filled with concrete 2 days ago and today the plumbing and some of my bricks arrived and I do not even have a slab as yet Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 42Apr 02, 2009 8:16 pm Oooh bricks. They may have delivered them because they won't have access to put them at the rear once the slab is down maybe?? Your slab won't be far away now! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 43Apr 02, 2009 8:18 pm Seriously Joles is there anything you do not know??? You are amazing, as dad and I were standing there wondering as to why they were left there Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 45Apr 02, 2009 8:34 pm Great stuff Tillie! Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 48Apr 03, 2009 12:09 pm thats great Tillie! things are really moving along now and falling into place. Not long to go for the slab now. Would be exciting to see YOUR bricks being delivered. Btw still no word from AV Jen about the start of my parents house construction. Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 49Apr 03, 2009 7:19 pm Annietom: Fingers crossed that the builder keeps moving along at a nice steady pace throughout the build Ryan Oliver: I too hope that it is not too far away, was hoping for some work today as they have been onsite consistently, but due to the lovely rain there was nothing done, just a huge mud pit Donuts: I too was very excited about the pipes and trying to work out what leads to what going by my plans, but they have stumped me with some of them Abbey_aj: It was very excited to see some bricks down the back of the block, had zoom the camera in to be sure as I thought that it had something to do with the foundations for the slab That's a shame that your parents have not heard from them, have your parents tried calling them? I did as I had no communication from them intially and found them onsite How is your house coming along? Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 50Apr 03, 2009 9:14 pm It sure rained today! i think while you're building its one of the only times where you wish it didnt rain so that things didn't get delayed. But i guess we are in need of as much rain as we can get, most of the rain will be over the weekend i think so that it will clear up during the week. My parents are intending to call them on Monday to see whats going on. As for my build, i am also still waiting for a start, i will call my builder on Monday as well to see whats going on. Re: My Coventry 33 - Plans signed 51Apr 04, 2009 1:11 pm Congrats on the pipes, Tillie! It's always good to see something happen almost everyday! Won't be long now till you have a slab party!! I had a delivery of 8 pallets of bricks, along the back fence, prior to pipes being layed too, just so there are some there for the brickies to start on the back of the house, as access is limited...just as Joles has pointed out! The rest will be dumped in stages at the front as the bricking continues. I have about 3 pallets sitting in the garage, and more waiting to be delivered once there is more room for them. Just have to wait for the brickies to return from holidays... Looking forward to the slab!!! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!!
