Bought some black bark the other day and have spread that out over the front gardens, just have the fruit tree area to weed mat and level out some areas and then it is done. I was not too sure about the black colour as I was wanting brown, but I am happy with it. BF suggested black and I was not too sure of his tastes Delightful garden, which unfortunately has had a few ferns fall casualty to the heat, and my grandfather just loves to pot around in the garden and gave me quite a few pots of the greenish-white leafy plants, have no idea what they are or how they shall grow Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here is a before shot: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The after shot shot: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Air-con finally being installed this Friday it is a spilt system as I put in ceiling fans to all the bedrooms and the tiler just called to confirm that he shall be finishing the tilers this Saturday, YAY all the house furniture can move back in and better get on to organising the carpet!!! Re: A*J C@ventry 33 - Update on garden pics 15/02 735Feb 16, 2010 12:19 pm Yay!! That looks awesome!! Mulch always makes things much nicer I have the standard brownish coloured mulch for our back garden edging, but I really like the look of the black mulch for front garden features! My karma ran over your dogma Re: A*J C@ventry 33 - Update on garden pics 15/02 736Feb 18, 2010 10:23 am Well have been in the house just over three months and my list is steadily growing of items that need to be fixed. I cannot believe how quickly time has gone. I have booked in for the carpet to be laid next Tuesday the 24th of Feb so potentially all going to plan by next Tuesday arvo the inside of the house shall be finished, other than decorating items. Cannot believe it!!!! Hoping to finish off the mulching this weekend to the fruit tree area is it is only a about a third done, quite hard trying to lay weed mat down on one's own in the wind Have bought 2 bar stools for about $70 from a salvage centre in Hoppers Crossing which I think I have seen on here already, but am going to wait until Sunday to post pics as the tiling shall be done and all the furniture and rugs in place Re: A*J C@ventry 33 - Update on garden pics 15/02 737Feb 21, 2010 1:27 pm The floor tiling has been completed yesterday!!!! I am able to clean them tomorrow and then move all my furniture back in The air con also was installed earlier this week and works better than what I thought it would even on low Air con is in the rumpus near the family/kitchen/meals areas, the outdoor unit is quiet for some reason I thought it would have been quite loud Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking from the corner of the living area towards the front door, the grou is called mocha Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Carpet booked in for Wednesday!!!! Look at the gorgeous Tillie laying down - we ended up rehoming Jessie BUT she is having a ball - she is on an acerage out past Bendigo with heaps of other dogs!! My karma ran over your dogma Re: A*J C@ventry 33 - Tiling finished 20/02 739Feb 21, 2010 7:39 pm Congratulations on the house being tiled. I bet this has been a relief after not having had any floor coverings for awhile. You won't know yourself with carpet! I can see the woofa in one of the shots and he looks like he's enjoying the cool tiles! The garden also looks fab. I had new concrete laid, extended the alfresco and had the sidewalks concreted too. I noticed the concreter didn't put the expansion foam anywhere, there are expansion… 0 8117 1 11004 1 15753 |
