Basically, it was a waste of time. I feel that the administrator himself is incompetent and continually brushed off questions by stating the questions were individual contract-specific, which they weren't. The only decent information came from Neil, who is from Vero (home warranty insurance). He's going to be flooded with calls and claim forms this week.
So, we have to wait until 3 March when the creditors will vote whether to accept the DOCA. I'm not crossing my fingers.
I will be seeking further advice, which may mean terminating our contract with Wincrest and having another builder to finish the job. Have to work out the legals and logistics yet.
The ones I felt really sorry for were the those whose homes were only a matter of weeks away from completion. I hope they find a way to get them done and move in.
