Hi Stephen,
Great floorplan, I especially liked it when it was widen, makes a grand entry which always gives that initial WOW factor.
Have you decided which changes you are going to make to the floorplan?

Internal access from garage 2. Close off Living with double door 3. Close off access to bathroom from bedroom 2 4. provide raised ceilings 2590mm We also want to widen the width of the house. But our builder said that they would not be able to do that. because it will change the structural calculations. But our land is only 16m width and the standard width of the house is already 14.5m. So I cant really widen it substantially. So the width will be as is. Thanks for your comment. We are also building the Harvard with DFH, our site start was last Thursday. We made a few modifications to the plan: 1. Removed door to bathroom from bedroom 2 2. Added internal access door from garage 3. Widened garage by 1.2m 4. Added door to Ensuite 5. Raised ceilings 6. Extended shower in Ensuite I think that's pretty much the big structual changes we made. How's your build coming along FND? Built with Dennis Family Homes Cascades on Clyde All moved in now!!!! I think Harvard is a very beautiful house We also made similar modifications as yours (we didnt extend the garage though as our land is only 16m width) At the moment, I am still waiting for the contracts from DFH. Its been almost 3 months now since we first paid our initial deposit. So we are hoping that we will get the contract docs soon. Hoping to start build in June/July. Which facade did u go width? We really wanted eaves so that was the best one for us to go with, we also really like the roof lines of the facade. Which facade did you go with? They began our slab on Friday, they are pouring it on Monday and then the frame goes up next Monday. We met our site supervisor on Thursday and he was fantastic, very helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. Our contracts took about 3 months as well, but as soon as they came through and the bank was sorted, everything has happened to quick!! Where are you building? At first I didn't even consider DFH at all but when I came accross this floor plan I stared to get interested. Then I start looking for information on DFH and it looks like most of the comments in this forum is positive. I might try to build with DFH once I get a land in Point Cook. Good luck with your first new home Esperance Estate, Point Cook Re: What do u think of this floorplan? comments appreciated =) 67Aug 05, 2009 12:51 pm Hi guys! We're also building the Harvard, we are building in Torquay. Our slab was laid on Friday and I'm going out to visit the site today to see the progress of the frame. Just wondering how everyone going with theirs and if there are any pics to share? Thanks guys!! Re: What do u think of this floorplan? comments appreciated 68Aug 06, 2020 11:53 am Hi Guys Not sure if I am not supposed to post it on this thread but I haven't found a generic floorplan discussion thread. (OP, please let me know if this was only for commenting on 'first post floorplan' ) Here is my custom plan (designed by me, drafting outsourced) on 479sqm lot with 14m frontage. in South East Melbourne. Have a 340k budget in mind with reasonably good finish, raked ceiling over dining and family(1) and skillion roof facade(2) (couple custom builders have quoted 10-15k upgrade for each on top of 340-370k quotes) hoping to reduce side offsets to 1200mm (12.6m overall width) to reduce house size (hopefully allowing me to add 6sqm alfresco without increasing build cost) Any recommendations, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking for suggestions around:
